I provide my clients with original illustrations, graphic design and one of a kind pieces of contemporary fine art. My illustration style lends itself well for children’s books, poster design, logos, and advertising campaigns. My large scale paintings with collage are great for personal or private collections, for both home and office. In addition, I create two and three dimensional sculptures using found architectural ephemera, great for an accent piece in an office lobby or front entrance.

They say that we are the result of our experiences, imagination, limitations, hopes, dreams, fears, friends, family and finances. I agree. I also believe that beyond all of that there lies new and uncharted territory worthy of exploring.
I am in a constant state of discovery and perpetual change. I am easily entertained and find inspiration everywhere. I love buying a bunch of new magazines, enjoying a colorful sunrise or sunset and traveling, anywhere. I highly recommend snowshoeing.
Finding a discarded, three legged chair makes me happy. I am the happiest when I am laughing, loudly, out loud. Thrift stores, antique malls, side of the road finds, it’s ALL fodder to me.
My most recent body of mixed media assemblages and sculptures lend themselves to utilizing and “repurposing” found architectural ephemera.

The Constructivist and Dada Art Movements intrigue me. I find endless hours of inspiration in Architecture of all kinds, Industrial Design, Contemporary Pop Art. My latest fascination is with sculpture, both large scale, and site specific public art. Art that is intentionally created to be
touched, kinetic and interactive is cool.

I painted these portraits based on photos I took of these beautiful kids during an art show in Michigan. They all were so wonderful and willing to pose.
